India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar Set to Visit Nepal on January 4

India’s External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, is set to visit Kathmandu in the first week of January for the seventh meeting of the Nepal-India joint commission. This visit comes as a crucial step to reinforce and enhance the relations between the two neighboring countries.

The invitation for the visit was extended by Nepal’s Foreign Minister, NP Saud, marking the highest bilateral mechanism between the nations. The primary objective of the visit is to review and strengthen the longstanding ties between India and Nepal.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in both countries has commenced preparations for the visit, outlining the agenda and groundwork. Memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed during the meeting, signifying a renewed commitment to cooperation between the two nations.
