Jack Ma’s Unrevealed Nepal Visit Ends, Headed for Pakistan

Chinese billionaire and co-founder of Alibaba Group, Jack Ma has returned from his visit to Nepal. Ma arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday via a Boeing 737 Max aircraft. After a brief stay in Nepal, he departed for Lahore, Pakistan on Thursday afternoon.

According to Teknath Sitaula, the spokesperson for the airport, the aircraft carrying Ma and his accompanying team took off at 11:30 local time. The purpose of Ma’s visit to Nepal remains undisclosed, leaving speculation among media and observers.

During his stay in Nepal, the billionaire businessman explored several prominent tourist destinations. Jack Ma visited Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an ancient royal palace renowned for its stunning architecture and rich cultural heritage. He also made a stop at Swayambhu, a sacred Buddhist site atop a hill, offering breathtaking views of the Kathmandu Valley.

Ma’s itinerary in Nepal included a visit to the Kalimati vegetable market, a bustling hub for fresh produce and a vital part of the local economy. Additionally, he explored Thamel, a vibrant neighborhood in Kathmandu known for its diverse range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

Accompanying Jack Ma on his visit were seven individuals. The team comprised five Chinese nationals, one Danish citizen, and one American citizen, all of whom also joined him on the subsequent journey to Pakistan. The identities and roles of these individuals were not disclosed.

It was said that Ma wa scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat during his visit to Nepal. However, he left for Pakistan without holding the meetings.
