Landslide Kills Five Family Members, Leaves Two Missing in Nepal

A devastating landslide triggered by heavy rainfall has claimed the lives of three members of a family in Malika Rural Municipality, Gulmi. Bhesh Bahadur BK, 56, his wife Suntali, 47, and their daughter-in-law Sita BK, 30, were killed when their house was buried.
Two granddaughters, Sapana, 7, and Bipana, 2, are still missing. Rescue teams are actively searching for them.
In a separate landslide in Baglung’s Galkot Municipality, Prem BK, 55, and his wife Basanti, 50, were killed. Their daughter-in-law, Kumari BK, and grandson, Shishir BK, were injured and are receiving treatment at Galkot Municipal Hospital.
Authorities and locals continue to work tirelessly at both sites to locate the missing and provide aid to the affected families.
