Senior leader of the Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Poudel has urged party cadres to go for election by making the alliance stronger.
During a meeting with leaders of alliance parties at the NC Tanahu office on Monday, he said there was no alternative to make the alliance stronger as it is the need of the hour.
Senior leader Poudel asked the member of the ruling alliance, CPN (Unified Socialist) to withdraw its rebel candidacy filed in four seats of the province assembly of Tanahu against the alliance candidate and instead support them. “The alliance was made by the center, not by the district. Withdraw candidacy considering it,” he said.
Leader Poudel has filed his candidacy for the post of member of the House of Representatives from Tanahu Constituency-1.
