Light Rainfall and Cloudy Weather Forecast Across Nepal

Kathmandu Valley has been witnessing light rainfall. Meteorologist Devid Dhakal told RSS that light rainfall is expected this morning, afternoon, and tonight in the Kathmandu Valley. The haze that had covered the Valley and most parts of the country is also gradually clearing.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall along with thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Lumbini Province today. Similarly, light rainfall and snowfall have been forecast at some places in the high-hilly and mountain regions of the country.

Partly to generally cloudy weather is likely in the mountain region of Bagmati Province, with the possibility of light snowfall at some places. The sky in the hilly regions is expected to remain generally cloudy, with light to moderate rainfall, thunder, and lightning likely at some places.

Likewise, partly to generally cloudy weather, along with light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning, has been predicted at one or two places in the Tarai region. The Division has also forecast light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly regions.

Tonight, the weather in the mountain regions of Koshi Province, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Lumbini Province is expected to be partly to generally cloudy, with the possibility of light snowfall at some places. Additionally, light to moderate rainfall coupled with lightning, thunder, and storms is expected at one or two places in the Tarai region.
