Lok Bahadur Thapa appointed Nepal’s Ambassador to UN
President Ram Chandra Paudel on Monday appointed Lok Bahadur Thapa as the Ambassador of Nepal to the United Nations Permanent Mission in New York.
Likewise, the President appointed Nepal’s Ambassador to South Africa Dan Bahadur Tamang as the Ambassador to Republic of Mauritius and Republic of Zambia.
Furthermore, President Paudel appointed Nepal’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, as the non-resident Ambassador to Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The Office of the President stated that Nepal’s Ambassador to Brazil Nirmalraj Kafle was appointed as the non-resident Nepali Ambassador to Paraguay.
Issuing a press statement, Spokesperson at the Office of the President Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai stated that the President made the ambassadorial appointments as per the Article 282 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.
