NC leader Sitaula Files Candidacy for NA Elections in Koshi Province

Nepali Congress (NC) leader Krishna Sitaula has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the upcoming National Assembly (NA) election by filing his candidacy papers in Koshi Province. The nomination process unfolded in Biratnagar, where Sitaula was joined by his nominators Pradeep Sunuwar and Himal Karki.

The strategic move by the Nepali Congress marks a significant shift for Sitaula, who recently faced defeat in the House of Representatives (HoR) election against Rajendra Lingden, Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party. Undeterred by the setback, Sitaula is now eyeing a seat in the National Assembly as the ruling alliance has allocated 10 seats to the Nepali Congress.

Sitaula’s entry into the NA race is expected to intensify the political dynamics in Koshi Province, as he seeks to make a comeback and contribute to the party’s representation in the legislative body. The election will undoubtedly be closely watched, shaping the political landscape in the region.

As the political scenario unfolds, all eyes will be on the candidates vying for the National Assembly seats, with Sitaula’s candidacy adding a layer of intrigue and anticipation to the electoral proceedings in Koshi Province.
