NC leader Sitaula Optimistic about Resolving Identity Issue Through Mutual Understanding

In a recent address to the people’s representatives of Bhojpur, the former general secretary of Nepali Congress, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, expressed confidence that the current issue of identity would be resolved through mutual understanding, drawing parallels to the successful resolution of the prolonged conflict.

Addressing the gathering in anticipation of the National Assembly election scheduled for January 25, Sitaula emphasized the importance of discussions on the topic of identity following the conclusion of the election. He highlighted the significance of mutual understanding and dialogue in finding a solution to the identity issue, echoing the approach that proved effective in ending the earlier conflict.

“Such a big conflict and struggle were resolved through mutual understanding and talks. We need a similar approach to seek a solution to the current issue of identity. The National Assembly will take complete shape after the election on January 25, and discussions on the identity issue will commence as the Assembly reaches completion,” Sitaula stated optimistically.

Encouraging voters to support political parties aligned with the constitution and the interests of the people, Sitaula urged them to cast their votes for parties in the ruling coalition that advocate for the federal democratic republic. He stressed the importance of unity among all parties to overcome the challenges facing the nation.

“As we face the challenges of today, understanding among all parties is crucial. By voting for leaders who support the constitution and the people, we can contribute to the betterment of our nation,” Sitaula urged the electorate.
