Nepal A sets Canada a victory target of 217 runs

Nepal ‘A’ has posted a total of 216 runs against visitors Canada in the first match of the ODI series.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss in the match being played at Mulpani cricket stadium, Nepal ‘A’ lost 8 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs before posting 216 runs. Basir Ahmed scored a half century for Nepal A with an unbeaten 50 runs in 55 balls. Similarly, Rashid Khan scored 40 and Mayan Yadav added 35 runs.

For the bowling side, Captain Saad Bin Zafar took 3 wickets while Ishwarjit Sohi took two wickets.
