Nepal and China’s UN Envoys Hold Talks

The Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of China to the United Nations, Zhang Jun, extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa, the Permanent Representative of Nepal to Nepal’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.

Ambassador Zhang Jun took to Twitter, sharing a photo of their meeting and stating, “A big welcome to Ambassador @LokThapa2071, newly appointed PR of Nepal. Had fruitful discussions on bilateral relations and UN-related issues. Look forward to our close cooperation in the UN.”

In response, Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa expressed his gratitude by retweeting Zhang Jun’s post, saying, “Thank you Ambassador Mr. Zhang for the warmth and cordiality with which I was received. Quite delighted to have in-depth discussions on different issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.”
