Nepal Falls Short in WAFF Women’s Championship Final Against Jordan
In a thrilling showdown at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, the Nepali women’s football team showcased their resilience but ultimately succumbed to Jordan in the final of the WAFF Women’s Championship. Despite a valiant effort, Nepal’s journey ended in heartbreak as they lost 5-3 on penalties after a nail-biting encounter that saw late drama unfold.
The match, which saw Nepal playing without their star forward Sabitra Bhandrai, witnessed intense back-and-forth action from both sides.
