Nepali Army Hosts Photo Exhibition at Headquarters
A photo exhibition titled “Nepali Army Photo and Extensive Exhibition-2081 BS” has been launched at the Nepali Army (NA) Headquarters in Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. The event, inaugurated today by Chief of Army Staff, Ashok Raj Sigdel, is being held to mark the upcoming Mahashivaratri festival and Army Day next month.
The exhibition, which is open to the public free of charge, will run until January 31. It showcases a wide array of photographs, arms, ammunition, and equipment that reflect both the history and current operations of the Nepali Army.
Key themes featured in the exhibition include the army uniform, military bands, aviation services, equestrian traditions, national parks and wildlife reserves, peacekeeping missions, development efforts, disaster management, sports, and Army Schools, among others.
According to NA Spokesperson Brigadier General Gaurav Kumar KC, the exhibition aims to educate the public about the diverse roles and responsibilities of the Nepali Army.
