NEPSE Records Surge of 36.68 Points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a substantial increase of 36.68 points on Tuesday, marking the third trading day of the week.

Following a brief downturn on Monday, the market rebounded with notable momentum, closing at an impressive 1985.44 points. Tuesday’s trading session witnessed a total of 95,433 transactions involving 1,24,631,168 shares, accumulating a substantial business worth NPR 4,30,90,19,196.

Despite the market’s recent fluctuations, a positive trend prevailed as share prices of 208 companies rose, while 29 companies experienced a decline. Additionally, 5 companies maintained stability in their share prices, showcasing the resilience of the market amidst dynamic conditions.

This surge follows the noteworthy increase on Sunday, where the NEPSE index reached 1963.98 points after a remarkable uptick of 111.20 points.

During today’s trading session, a total of 7,14,000 shares from 244 companies were involved, contributing to a business worth NPR 48,24,82,000. The market’s resilience and the active participation of investors indicate a positive sentiment and potential for further growth in the Nepalese stock market.
