People’s complaints will be addressed: Minister Jwala

Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport, Prakash Jwala, has said the government would move ahead by addressing people’s complaints relating to construction of East-West railway.

Talking to media persons here today, Minister Jwala mentioned that problems would be resolved from all-side meeting because locals launched agitation citing the study, which they argued, showed railway passes through human settlement.

He shared the activities related to study for the railway have stopped for the time being.

Minister Jwala added discussion would be held among people’s representatives, representatives of political parties and stakeholders today itself about the reality and its alternative. “We are in course of discussion on the issue of demarcation of East-West railway”, he shared.

On a different note, Minister Jwala admitted that problems surfaced while forwarding activities of road construction in lack of sufficient budget and lax contractors.
