Police Detains Two More in Connection with Lalita Niwas Land-Grab Scam

In the latest development regarding the Lalita Niwas land-grab scam, the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police apprehended two additional individuals on Monday.

The arrested parties have been identified as Sanjay Maharjan and Sakula Nanda Maharjan. They stand accused of involvement in the embezzlement of 112 ropanis of land through the creation of fraudulent tenants and a fake guthi (trust).

This recent arrest brings the total number of individuals apprehended in connection with the Lalita Niwas land-grab scam to 21.
