Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN-Unified Socialist party and the Upendra Yadav-led Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) are working on for their party unification.
Preparations are underway to unite the parties.
The leaders have intensified the discussion for the unification between JSP and CPN-Unified Socialist, says the spokesperson of Unified Socialist, Jagannath Khatiwada.
He said that the Politburo meeting of the United Socialist Party held in Kathmandu on Tuesday decided to intensify talks for the unification with ‘like-minded parties’ like JSP.
Unified Socialist Party have got 10 and JSP have got 12 lawmakers in the House of Representatives.
