
President and Vice-President Offer Prayers at Pashupatinath Temple on Mahashivaratri


President Ramchandra Paudel and Vice-President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav visited the Pashupatinath Temple today to offer prayers and make traditional offerings on the occasion of Mahashivaratri.
It is customary for the head of state to worship at Pashupatinath during the festival, which holds immense religious significance for devotees.
The dignitaries were welcomed at the temple premises by Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, along with Member-Secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT), Dr. Milan Kumar Thapa, and other PADT officials and employees.
President Paudel also received prasad from the temple’s main priest, Ganesh Bhatta. He was accompanied by his spouse, Sabita Paudel, during the visit.
