Presidents of Pakistan and Nepal Extend Invitations to Each Other

The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, has extended a warm invitation to Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel for an official visit to Pakistan.

The invitation was conveyed by the newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Abrar H Hashmi, during a credential presentation ceremony held at the Presidency in Kathmandu.

During the auspicious occasion that signifies the commencement of Ambassador Hashmi’s diplomatic tenure in Nepal, Ambassador Hashmi conveyed greetings and best wishes from President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and the people of Pakistan to President Ram Chandra Paudel.

Ambassador Hashmi highlighted the historical and cordial relations between Pakistan and Nepal, emphasizing the deep-rooted goodwill, mutual trust, and cooperation shared by the two nations. He expressed the desire to revitalize bilateral mechanisms and foster high-level contacts, underscoring the importance of strengthening ties between the two South Asian countries.

President Paudel graciously accepted the invitation extended by President Alvi, expressing his appreciation for the warm gesture. He commended the existing cordial and friendly relations between the peoples of Pakistan and Nepal and assured the Pakistani Ambassador of the Government of Nepal’s full cooperation during his tenure.

Similarly, President Paudel, in a reciprocal gesture, also extended an invitation to President Arif Alvi to visit Nepal. He conveyed his sincere invitation, expressing Nepal’s eagerness to host the Pakistani President and further strengthen the bilateral ties.
