Prime Minister Prachanda Calls All-Party Meeting

In a bid to address the ongoing crisis stemming from the devastating earthquake in Jajarkot, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has called for an all-party meeting scheduled to take place this Tuesday at Singha Darbar. The meeting is set to commence at 2 p.m. local time.

The primary objective of this high-level gathering is to engage the various political parties represented in the Parliament to discuss critical issues related to the earthquake disaster. Last Friday, a powerful earthquake struck the region, resulting in significant human and material devastation.

According to sources at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the agenda for the all-party meeting will center on several key points. Foremost among these is assessing the impact of the earthquake, with a focus on understanding the extent of the damage to both infrastructure and the local population.

Additionally, the meeting aims to strategize on collaborative efforts for timely relief and rehabilitation. This includes discussions on how to provide immediate aid to the affected communities, as well as planning for the long-term reconstruction and recovery efforts.
