Prime Minister Prachanda Wrapping Up India Visit Today

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is set to return home on Saturday after successfully concluding his four-day visit to India. The Prime Minister, who departed for India on Wednesday, is scheduled to fly back to Nepal at 4.30 pm.

According to PM Dahal’s Secretariat, he stayed in Indore on Friday and will be returning home via Delhi today. During his visit, the Prime Minister paid a visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, where he offered prayers. He also took the opportunity to observe the waste management system in Indore, expressing his hope that the successful implementation of the ‘Clean India Campaign’ in India could serve as a valuable model for waste management in Kathmandu.

Furthermore, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan hosted a dinner in honor of Prime Minister Prachanda on Friday evening, highlighting the warm and cordial relationship between the two countries.

Prime Minister Prachanda has described his visit to India as an astounding success, reflecting the positive outcomes and achievements resulting from bilateral discussions and engagements between Nepal and India. Notably, seven agreements were signed during the visit, covering key areas such as electricity trade, transportation, expansion of petroleum pipelines, and the construction of economic infrastructure, among others. These agreements signify the commitment of both nations to deepen cooperation and enhance mutual development.
