Ready to Face Consequences if Found Guilty in Cooperative Fund Case: Lamichhane

In a bold move, Rabi Lamichhane, the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has publicly declared his readiness to face any consequences if found guilty in the cooperative fund embezzlement case. Lamichhane made the statement during a press conference held on Monday at the party’s headquarters in Banasthali, Kathmandu.

During the conference, Lamichhane challenged any state institution to thoroughly examine his accounts, stating, “Any institution is welcome to check my account. If I am found to have taken Rs. 17 million, I am ready to face the consequences.” The RSP chair seemed confident in his innocence and emphasized his willingness to cooperate with any investigation.

The controversy surrounding Lamichhane escalated after reports surfaced that Rs. 18 million had been deposited into his private account when he departed from Galaxy Television. The chairman addressed this issue directly, urging a comprehensive examination of his financial transactions to clear his name.

The cooperative fund embezzlement case has sparked public interest, with citizens closely following developments as the RSP chairman openly confronts the allegations against him. Authorities are yet to respond to Lamichhane’s challenge, leaving the political landscape in suspense as the investigation unfolds.
