RPP Hosts Tea Reception on Prithvi Jayanti [Photos]

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) marked the auspicious occasion of Prithvi Jayanti with a grand tea reception and exchange of greetings, attracting the participation of top leaders from various political parties. The event, held at Bhrukutimandap on Friday, witnessed a diverse gathering of prominent figures, including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane.

The festivities, organized annually by the RPP, brought together leaders and members from a spectrum of political parties, former administrators, security personnel, and distinguished guests. RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden extended a warm welcome to the attendees, setting the tone for a convivial atmosphere that fostered discussions and camaraderie.

A highlight of the event was Prime Minister Dahal paying homage to Prithvi Narayan Shah by offering floral tributes to his portrait, symbolizing respect for the founder of the Shah dynasty and the unifier of modern Nepal.
