RPP’s Tea Ceremony Tomorrow

In honor of the 302nd Prithivi Jayanti and National Unity Day, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is all set to host a distinguished tea reception at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on Poush 27 (January 12).

An array of esteemed guests has been invited to participate in the commemorative event. Invitations have been extended to the President, Prime Minister, leaders from various political parties, representatives from diplomatic and constitutional bodies, as well as individuals from religious associations, industrialists, businessmen, professionals, and intellectuals.

The focal point of the gathering will be a special tea ceremony attended by both the President and the Prime Minister. This ceremony aims to pay homage to the late King Prithivi Narayan Shah, whose pivotal role in unifying diverse states played a crucial role in shaping modern Nepal.

RPP has issued instructions to all its constituents to observe National Unity Day at the central, state, and local levels. This initiative is aimed at fostering a sense of unity and solidarity among the citizens, echoing the principles laid down by King Prithivi Narayan Shah.

The event at Bhrikutimandap is anticipated to be a platform for reflection on the historical significance of National Unity Day and the enduring legacy of King Prithivi Narayan Shah. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party hopes that the tea reception will serve as a catalyst for promoting national unity and harmony, echoing the vision of a united Nepal.
