RSP Lawmaker and Maoist-Linked Businessman Prove Love Conquers All
Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Sobita Gautam has recently entered into matrimony with businessman Grihendra Ghimire. Sobita, a respected member of parliament representing Kathmandu Constituency No. 2, and Grihendra exchanged vows on 21 May, in an intimate ceremony attended by close family members.
While Sobita is currently on an official visit to Japan for party engagements, her newly-wedded spouse Grihendra holds the positions of director at Himalayan Builders and chairman of Grisma Broadcasting.
Sources reveal that Sobita and Ghimire, who has affiliations with the Maoists, have been in a long-term romantic relationship. Grihendra, a resident of Chitwan, shares a close familial connection with Maoist Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
