Six Municipalities Honored for Outstanding Performance

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli recognized six municipalities for their exemplary performance over the past year during the 32nd anniversary of the Municipality Association of Nepal (MuAN).

Thakurbaba Municipality of Bardiya received the top honor for its work in institutional development, service delivery, and financial governance.
Siddharthanagar Municipality of Rupandehi was awarded for achievements in urban planning, infrastructure, and disaster management, while Kalaiya Sub-Municipal Corporation was recognized for its contributions to social development.

Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, Gaindakot Municipality of Nawalparasi, and Ghodaghodi Municipality of Kailali were honored for their efforts in environmental conservation, cultural preservation, tourism promotion, and economic development.
