Teen Killed, Sister Injured in Tanahu Road Accident

An 18-year-old teenager died while his younger sister was injured in a road accident that took place along the Prithvi Highway on Saturday late afternoon. The accident occurred at Phusrekhola in Myagde Rural Municipality-1.

Manish Alemagar of Byas Municipality-6 died after the scooter he was pillion riding with his 15-year-old sister, Anisha Alemagar, was hit by a tipper truck, according to the District Police Office, Tanahu.

Manish was declared dead upon arrival by doctors at the Provincial Hospital, Damauli, while his sister Anisha has been sent to Gandaki Medical College for further treatment. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
