UML parliamentary party passes condolence proposal

CPN-UML’s parliamentary party meeting held on Thursday has endorsed condolence proposal on the demise of party vice-chairperson, Constituent Assembly chairperson and former Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Subas Chandra Nembang.

The meeting presided over by party chairperson KP Sharma Oli noted that Nembang’s role was indelible in the country’s democratic movement and constitution-making process.

Leader Nembang breathed his last on September 12 due to heart attack.
