Bishnu Rijal Asserts: Dead Monarchy Won’t Resurface
Central Committee Member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), Bishnu Rijal, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to address recent developments.
In a tweet, he asserted, “A republic is not so weak that it can be shaken by a ‘stunt’ of a bankrupt bank debtor. Even if the republic is that weak, the river will not flow backward. Another extremism may raise its head, but the dead monarchy will never come back from the grave.”
This statement comes amidst growing tensions surrounding a perceived threat to the stability of the republic.
Meanwhile, a significant development is on the horizon, as campaigners, led by figures like Durga Prasai, are gearing up for a massive demonstration in Kathmandu on November 23. The demonstration aims to address various socio-political issues, and its timing has sparked speculation about its potential impact on the current political landscape.
