CM Pandey Warns Against Anti-Republic Activities, Emphasizes Stability and Prosperity

Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has warned that any attempts to undermine the federal democratic republic will face consequences, asserting that the system was established in alignment with the aspirations of the Nepali people.

Speaking at the 33rd establishment day of Vyas Municipality in Damauli on Friday, Chief Minister Pandey emphasized that the current political structure is the result of “long-standing struggles and sacrifices by the people” and must not be compromised.

“There is no alternative to achieving economic prosperity within the framework of the existing system,” he stated, calling for an end to political instability and stronger cooperation between the three tiers of government for national development.

Also addressing the event were National Assembly member Bhagawati Neupane, Gandaki Province Assembly member Jit Prakash Ale, Tanahu Chief District Officer Shyam Krishna Thapa, and District Coordination Committee Chief Shanti Raman Wagle. The officials urged local authorities to respond effectively to the needs and expectations of the people.
