Deuba and Dahal hold meeting to discuss on forming new government
A meeting was held between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
The top leaders of the two parties met at the Prime Minister’s residence Baluwatar on Saturday morning.
The meeting between the top leaders of two major ruling parties came at a time when election results are pouring in from across the country.
According to the Personal Secretariat of Chairman Dahal, the meeting focused on the results of the elections and the political developments.
This meeting is seen as an upcoming collaboration. The two parties have initiated discussions to form a new government in the center and in the provinces.
According to the results obtained so far, NC and the Maoist Center have emerged as the first and third largest parties in parliament.
