Gold Prices Reach New Highs: Fine Gold Hits Rs 136,800 per Tola

In yet another surge, gold prices have hit unprecedented levels, reaching a new record high of Rs 136,800 per tola on Wednesday. This surge of Rs 500 per tola marks a notable increase in recent weeks, showcasing the ongoing volatility in the precious metals market.

The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has confirmed that the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 136,800 per tola, while standard gold is currently being traded at Rs 136,150 per tola.

In contrast, the price of silver has remained relatively stable, holding steady at Rs 1,700 per tola.

It’s important to note that a tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
