
Humla : 400 posts, 928 applications for the job of the temporary police


Although 400 temporary police personnel are required for the election, 928 applications for the job have been received by the last day of application submission on Thursday in Humla, according to the District Police Office, Humla.
Among the total applicants, 215 are women and 713 are men.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Krishna Raj Ojha said that the application received is more than twice the required applications.
In the local elections held on May 13 this year, 524 applications were received for 393 posts of temporary police, he said.
Furthermore, he said, Due to unemployment in Humla, youths are attracted to temporary police job.
698 generally literate people have applied for the job.
