Identity Revealed: Nepali Security Guard Tragically Killed in Jeddah US Consulate Attack

The identity of the Nepali security guard who tragically lost his life in a gun attack outside the US Consulate building in Jeddah has been revealed. Officials have confirmed that 59-year-old Nain Singh Nepali was killed during a shootout that occurred on Wednesday.

Nain Singh Nepali, a resident of Tilott in Rupandehi, Nepal, was identified as the victim of the attack. However, his official birthplace is listed as Baglung. His son is currently employed in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia.

The Nepali Embassy in Saudi Arabia has notified Nain Singh Nepali’s family about the devastating incident. Due to the closure of government agencies in observance of the Muslim festival of Eid, Nepali authorities directly contacted the American consulate to obtain information regarding the deceased.

Efforts are underway to establish contact with the company affiliated with the deceased security guard, according to officials. Meanwhile, Saudi authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the incident.

During the shootout, a suspected attacker was also killed outside the US consulate building. The US State Department has confirmed the incident and assured that no American citizens were harmed.
