
Lumbini Chief Minister Pledges Support for Private Sector Investment


Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has pledged to create a conducive environment for private sector investment to drive economic growth.
Speaking at the 18th Anniversary and Building Inauguration Programme of Rapti Life Care Hospital in Tulasipur, Chief Minister Acharya urged private investors to remain enthusiastic, assuring the government’s full cooperation.
Deputy Mayor of Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City, Tikaram Khadka, highlighted the private sector’s significant contributions to the education and health sectors.
With an investment of Rs 270 million, the 100-bed hospital boasts an annual turnover of Rs 177.3 million. Hospital Chairman Hari Rijal announced plans to expand services by offering lab and pharmacy programmes from next year, alongside ongoing nursing and general medicine classes.
The hospital currently employs 209 individuals and provides 10% of its beds and educational opportunities free of charge.
