NC’s Acharya elected HoR member from Kapilvastu-2

The Nepali Congress candidate Surendra Raj Acharya has won the election to the House of Representatives from Kapilvastu constituency 2. Acharya has received 39,014 votes.
Acharya’s closest rival Brijesh Kumar Gupta of the CPN (UML) garnered 38,697 votes.
Similarly, Sudhakar Pandey of the Nepali Congress has been elected to a member of the Province Assembly from Kapilvastu-2 (2). He got 14,185 votes.
Pandey’s closest rival Dharma Bahadur Lal Shrivastav of the CPN (UML) obtained 13,394 votes.
