Nepal Earthquake: India’s PM Modi Expresses Grief and Readiness to Help

In a heartfelt response to the recent earthquake in Jajarkot, Nepal, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his grief over the tragic loss of lives and the extensive material damage caused by the natural disaster. PM Modi conveyed his condolences and solidarity with the people of Nepal, while also offering India’s assistance.

Taking to his official X account, Prime Minister Modi stated, “Deeply saddened by the loss of lives and damage due to the earthquake in Nepal. India stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and is ready to extend all possible assistance. Our thoughts are with the bereaved families, and we wish the injured a quick recovery. @cmprachanda”

The earthquake in Jajarkot has taken a toll on the region, resulting in significant human casualties and damage to infrastructure.

The earthquake’s tragic toll has now reached 129, with 92 reported fatalities in Jajarkot and an additional 37 in Rukum West. The number of casualties continues to rise as dedicated rescue teams work relentlessly to locate survivors and offer vital assistance.
