Nepathya to Grace Canada with Mesmerizing Performances

The renowned Nepali band Nepathya is all set to embark on their inaugural musical tour of Canada. The band, known for its soulful melodies and powerful performances, will be gracing three Canadian cities in October.

The tour kicks off at ‘The Palace Theater’ in Calgary on Sunday, October 1, followed by a performance at ‘The Vogue Theater’ in downtown Vancouver on Wednesday, October 4. These concerts promise to be a treat for fans in the western part of Canada. The grand finale of the tour will be in Toronto, the former capital of the country, where the band will perform at the prestigious ‘Massey Hall’ on October 8.

Music enthusiasts can look forward to an evening of soul-stirring tunes as the entrance to all three concerts opens at 5 PM local time, with the performances commencing promptly at 7 PM. Special discounts await student groups, making these events even more accessible. Tickets for all tour concerts are available online, along with additional information on Nepathya’s official website (www.nepathya.com.np) and their social media platforms.

Nepathya, under the management of Nepalaya since 2002, has traveled far and wide, conducting 78 programs in 28 cities across 16 countries. Canada becomes the band’s 17th destination country, marking a significant milestone in their musical journey.

Canada has become an increasingly attractive destination for Nepalis, especially students pursuing their education abroad. As the Nepali population in Canada grows, various Nepali organizations regularly organize cultural and musical events. Rabin Thapaliya, a Nepali resident in Canada, expressed his excitement, saying, “This is likely the first time that the Nepali community here is presenting a Nepali artist at a prestigious event venue like Massey Hall.”

In line with their commitment to promote humanity through music, Nepathya has themed all their performances in 2023 as part of a series called ‘Music for Humanity.’ This theme will continue to resonate throughout the Nepathya Canada series.

The Canadian tour will feature eight experts who recently participated in tours to Japan, along with a team of 14, including the manager and six musicians. Amrit Gurung, the band’s leader and lead singer, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “Even though Canada is a new destination for us, we are greatly encouraged by the enthusiasm shown by Nepali residents living there.”

Nepathya’s Canadian tour promises to be a musical spectacle that fans won’t want to miss, and it’s a testament to the band’s dedication to spreading the power of music across borders.
