NEPSE Sees Slight Decline as Weekly Trading Wraps Up

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a minor downturn of 2.73 points on Thursday, signaling the end of the week’s trading activities.

Closing at 2004.05 points, the NEPSE index concluded its session for the week.

During the trading period, a total of 69,63,359 shares from 302 companies changed hands, resulting in 56,321 transactions and a turnover of Rs 3,037,267,307.

Noteworthy among the day’s movements were positive circuit breakers observed in Manushi Microfinance, Gurans Microfinance, and Taragaun Residency, with increases of 9.99 percent, 9.97 percent, and 9.90 percent, respectively.

On the downside, Peoples Power Limited experienced the most significant decline, dropping by 9.05 percent, followed by Sarbottam Cement with a 5.85 percent decrease.

Gurkhas Finance stood out in terms of transaction volume and share quantity, recording the highest turnover of Rs 233,291,612.
