No Committee: PM Dahal Alleges NC’s Role in Disturbing Political Balance

In an address to journalists in Biratnagar today, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, commonly known as ‘Prachanda’, asserted that ongoing political dialogues are aimed at resolving the deadlock in the House of Representatives. Emphasizing the necessity of a political solution to overcome the current impasse, Prime Minister Dahal highlighted that discussions at the political level have already commenced for this purpose.

During his address, Prime Minister Dahal expressed confidence in the effectiveness of dialogue and stressed the importance of addressing issues concerning cooperatives and Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane separately.

Rejecting the demand for a committee focused on Lamichhane, the Prime Minister deemed it unacceptable. He cited responses from relevant agencies and officials, stating that there are no grounds for investigation against Lamichhane in the mentioned ‘case’ as his basis for opposition.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Dahal accused opposition parties of diverting attention from challenges in the cooperative sector to political maneuvers following a change in the ruling alliances. He firmly stated that attempts to disrupt the prevailing political equilibrium will not succeed.
