Prime Minister Deuba visits Int’l Mountain Museum
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba visited the International Mountain Museum located at Ratopairha of Pokhara Metropolitan City-17 on Thursday.
Various materials and artifacts related to mountain and activities related to mountaineering have been collected and exhibited in the museum, established by Nepal Mountaineering Association.
Materials reflecting the social, cultural, religious, and economic activities in the mountain region, the origin of the world’s mountain ranges, its geological importance, wildlife, and minerals are exhibited in the museum.
The attraction of domestic and foreign tourists has now increased in museum.
Prime Minister Deuba, who is in Pokhara to attend the concluding ceremony of the 9th National Games, also signed the visitor’s book at the Museum.
Earlier, the President of the Nepal Mountaineering Association, Nima Niru Sherpa, Nepali Congress Gandaki province president Shukra Raj Sharma, and executive director of the museum, Nirmala Kumari Neupane, among others welcomed Prime Minister Deuba to the museum.
