RSP Rejects Calls for Parliamentary Investigation into Home Minister

In response to demands from the Nepali Congress to initiate a parliamentary investigation into Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane over allegations related to the cooperative case, Rastriya Swatantra Party’s chief whip Santosh Pariyar has clarified that such a committee cannot be formed based on false allegations.

Speaking to the media at the Parliament House, Pariyar emphasized that Lamichhane had been falsely accused in the cooperative case and forming a parliamentary investigation committee on this basis would be inappropriate.

“The Prime Minister has already addressed this issue in Parliament, and Deputy Prime Minister Lamichhane is willing to clarify the matter. It’s crucial to safeguard everyone’s political and cultural rights,” Pariyar stated.

He expressed his intention to resolve the opposition’s concerns through dialogue and cooperation.
