Rule of law warrants parties’ role: Leader Poudel
Nepali Congress leader Pradip Paudel has viewed political parties must work for establishing rule of law.
Addressing a greetings exchange programme organized on the occasion of New Year, 2081BS, leader Poudel wished correction in political parties so that rule of law would be established, thereby creating hope among people.
“This past year, 2080BS witnessed several questions over governance and political activities, so parties can review their past and promise not to repeat the activities that dishearten people,” he underscored. Poudel, however, said only question does not amount to culpability.
He reiterated that his party had not budged from the stance of a probe committee on cooperatives fraud. “NC has been continuously voicing for it. It is also a matter of morality in politics,” Poudel reminded.
Moreover, the NC leader argued anyone who blames others should be ready to respond when he/she also faces blame.
Cleaning up corruption is essential to serve good governance to the people, according to him.
