Senior pilot Vijay Lama barred from flying

Vijay Lama, the senior pilot of Nepal Airlines, has been dragged into the investigation as he broke the aviation rules by giving a video interview to a vlogger in the cockpit.

As except for the crew members, no one is allowed to enter the cockpit, Lama gave an interview to aviation vlogger Sam Chui from the cockpit in a vlog of the Dubai-Kathmandu route.

Pilots can do photography or videography only after the permission of the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

Pilot Lama has been barred from flying and is currently under investigation.
