Six detainees escaped from Dhanusha police office
A total of six detainees have escaped from Mahendranagar Area Police Office of Dhanusha district after breaking up the boundary walls on Sunday night.
DSP Pradip Bahadur Chhetri, spokesperson of District Police Office Dhanusha informed that they broke the wall of the detention cell and escaped on Sunday night. Among the escapees, two are in custody for firearms, three for indecent behavior and one for drug-related cases.
The asboundened prisoners have been identified as Roshan Mahato, Shankar Mahato, Binod Kumar Mahato, Anit Mandal, Roshan Yadav and Hari Ghising.
He said that the detainees could have escaped between 12 – 2 PM on Sunday by breaking the wall from the southern part of the detention cell.
He said, “The search operation of the absconded detainees is going on rapidly.”
