Tension in Parliament as UML refused to listen PM’s response

The UML party refused to accept the response provided by Prime Minister Prachanda to the questions raised about the Citizenship Bill in the Parliament, resulting in a tumultuous uproar within the legislative assembly.

During the House of Representatives meeting held on Monday, while Prime Minister Prachanda was addressing the questions raised by the Members of Parliament, a UML MP staged a protest.

After Prime Minister Prachanda stated that not validating the bill, which had been passed by the Parliament twice, would jeopardize the Constitution itself, Members of Parliament from the UML party protested vehemently.
