Three Minister to Take Oath Today

Three ministers hailing from distinct political backgrounds are poised to be sworn in today.

In the preliminary phase of this landmark event, Padam Giri representing CPN-UML and Hit Bahadur Tamang from CPN-Maoist Center are slated to embrace ministerial responsibilities.

Giri, Tamang, along with DP Aryal from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), are set to take their oath today. The specific portfolios for the appointees are yet to be conclusively determined.

“The allocation of ministries remains pending, pending as leaders, including Bishnu Paudel of UML, Barshaman Pun of Maoist Center, and Rabi Lamichhane of RSP, engage in discussions to reach a consensus,” Gobinda Acharya, the esteemed press adviser to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said.

He further disclosed that the distribution of ministries among the coalition parties would be settled through internal deliberations within the newly formed alliance.

To expedite this decision-making process, a crucial meeting has been scheduled at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at 2:30 PM today.

Moreover, in a bid to ensure transparency and unanimity among the alliance members, a comprehensive written agreement has been prepared and is set to be deliberated upon during the pivotal meeting.
