Tragic Jeep Accident Claims Eight Lives in Palpa

A tragic accident in Tinahu Rural Municipality-6 of Palpa district has left eight people dead and 14 others injured. The incident occurred on Tuesday when a passenger jeep en route to Chidis Shikhar Danda from Dumre met with a fatal accident, as confirmed by Superintendent of Police Heramba Sharma, chief of Palpa District Police Office.

According to Dinesh Ghimire, a rescuer at the scene, the victims involved in the accident hail from Chidis village. Immediate efforts from both police authorities and locals led to the injured being swiftly transported to the Prabhas-based Lumbini Medical College for urgent medical attention.
