UML Madhes Province Committee Office-Bearers Elected Unopposed, Chandeshwar Mandal Chairman

In a recent development, all the office-bearers of the CPN-UML Madhes province committee have been elected unopposed. The newly appointed members include Chandeshwar Mandal as Chairman, Bichari Yadav as Vice-Chairman, Manoj Paudel as Secretary, and Arati Bhandari and Mohammad Qais as Deputy Secretaries.

Chandeshwar Mandal, hailing from Siraha, was proposed for the role of Chairman by Politburo member Leela Nath Shrestha. Meanwhile, Bichari Yadav of Parsa was elected as Vice-Chairman, with UML Secretary Raghubir Mahaseth endorsing his candidacy.

Manoj Paudel from Bara will take on the role of Secretary and is known to be closely affiliated with politburo member Purushottam Paudel. Arati Bhandari of Rautahat and Mohammad Qais of Dhanusha have been elected as Deputy Secretaries, with Arati Bhandari having previously held the position.

The UML Madhes province convention, which commenced in Janakpur on Wednesday, will proceed to elect a 235-member committee. Chairman Chandeshwar Mandal has announced that the committee’s final composition will be determined by Friday evening.
