UML summons meeting of the National Congress Representatives Council
The CPN (UML) has summoned a meeting of its National Congress Representatives Council for coming April 20-22.
According to UML Central Office secretary Dr Bhishmaraj Adhikari, the meeting will take place at Godavari-based Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur and it will be attended by 2,153 general convention representatives.
As per the party Statute, the Council meeting will be held between the two National Congress as per the need.
The party meeting is taking place at the Central Office today to commence preparations for the Council meeting, it is said.
The Council meeting is expected to discuss reports to be presented by the central committee and the central body, endorse the documents, make an overall review of the party performance, and give necessary instructions to the bodies concerned.
