Unified Socialist gears up for upcoming by-elections with strategic appointments
In preparation for the by-elections scheduled for April 27, the CPN (Unified Socialist) has appointed seasoned leaders as election commanders to bolster their candidates’ campaigns.
Former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal has been tasked with overseeing the election in Ilam constituency No. 2 of the House of Representatives, while Party Secretary Garima Shah will lead efforts for the Provincial Assembly member election in Bajhang-1 of Sudurpaschim Province.
According to Politburo member Dilu Pant, these election commanders will play a crucial role in rallying party leaders and supporters in their respective districts and provinces.
Additionally, the party has formed a dedicated task group, spearheaded by Vice-President Pramesh Hamal, with General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal and Secretary Jeevanram Shrestha as members. This group will focus on providing necessary support and facilitation in the two constituencies to ensure smooth operations during the electoral process.
